Daily Practice for the Closet Witch

It can be hard to openly practice or perform rituals whilst trying to hide it from people or keep it private. I wanted to share a few things that I do to help bring a little magic to my everyday.

  1. Stir your tea or coffee

Do you have an intention for the day? Stir your tea clockwise whilst you focus on it to help attract it. Likewise, if you want to banish something stir anti-clockwise to send it away.

  2. Open a window

There's nothing better than fresh air to cleanse your space, open up your windows and image the air coming in and cleansing your space of all previous energies.

  3. Go outside

Sit in your garden or take a stroll outside to help you connect with nature and take in the sights, sounds and feel of nature. In a urban area? Don't worry, focus on the breeze and imagine it cleansing your aura, and concentrate on your breathing as a form of meditation.

  4. Take a bath or shower

Focus on the things that you want to release and imagine the water washing it away.

  5. Get cooking

Kitchen witcraft is very much a thing and is a very broad topic. Try making a meal that uses herbs that align with your intentions, and focus your intentions on your food and process, the possibilities with this are endless.

  6. Meditate

You don't need guided meditations or music, all you need to do is just sit and concentrate on your breathing simply in and out.

  7. Glamour magic

Charge your makeup, skincare, or jewellery with an intention.

  8. Clean your space

This is a great way to cleanse your space and re charge it. Imagine sweeping the bad energy out of the door.

  9. Affirmations

These can written down, said out loud or even in your head.

  10. Divination

You can use everyday objects for divination including playing cards and dice.

  11. Light a candle if you can

You don't need a rituals candle, just a normal everyday candle is perfect. You can use it for meditation, cleansing, banishing or divination.
